Fall Wild Food Walk

Join us at Fresh Roots Farm on Sunday October 11th from 3:00-4:30PM to attend our annual Fall Wild Food Walk!

Plants covered in this course will include Chickweed, Dandelion, Black Walnut, Hickory Nut, Burdock, Mugwort, and more. Learn how we can take fall forest and field abundance into our kitchens through this walk. We will learn how to safely identify and use a handful of plants.

Please note that this workshop will only run with 7 or more participants.

Where: Fresh Roots Farm (200 Campgaw Road Mahwah NJ, 07430).

When: Sunday October 11th from 3:00-4:30PM

What: We’ll be learning about the culinary uses of wild plants like chickweed, dandelion, mugwort, burdock, black walnut, hickory nut, and more, but will cover some medicinal aspects of each as well.

Cost: $30 per participant (FREE for students with code STUDENT26)

    A: If there is rain that will impede the comfort of the class, we will reschedule.

  • Q: Can I bring my children or dogs?

    A: Children are welcome at this event, but we ask that no dogs be brought into our farm.
