11th Annual Farm Feast

CHECK BACK TO THIS PAGE FOR UPDATED INFORMATION ON THE 2026 FARM FEAST

MEVO’s Farm Feast began in 2016 as a way to support our mission work and gather our community around a night of field-to-plate dishes, live music, and a celebration of our programming season and the volunteers, staff, interns, and supporters who made it possible. It has since become a beloved annual fundraiser event.

The event is planned and curated by a dedicated group of volunteers under the direction of MEVO’s staff. This is truly a homegrown event, and we would love to see you there!

Practicing what we preach

Through our Fresh Roots Farming Program, we strive to demonstrate what regenerative and ecologically-focused growing looks like. At the Farm Feast, we source as locally and organically as possible (including utilizing our own vegetables of course!) Below are some of the farms and producers we incorporate into our meal.

Meet our Chef Gabby Aron

Chef Gabby began her small food business in 2016 in efforts to combine her passions for sustainable agriculture with feeding her community, and family style hospitality. Coming from a multicultural food loving background, the seeds for food and environmental justice, access, and education were planted at a young age. Her fondest memories are painting her aunties basil pots, making homemade tomato sauce, and giant cucuzza squashes hanging in her family's urban backyard. Chef Gabby enjoys preparing mediterranean, eastern european, and middle eastern menus in exploration of her family's heritage- but equally loves creating all cuisines of the world in efforts to preserve human culture in relation to our environment. She has worked as a culinary and garden educator, a micro farmer, a CSA coordinator (to name a few), while building her reputation as a farm to table chef and educator.

When she's not cooking, Chef Gabby is an avid music lover and musician, enjoys stand up comedy, painting, and walking around the city enjoying ice cream and Vietnamese food. She lives in Jersey City with her dog Zucchini, and loved ones in the neighborhood.
