In the summer, MEVO holds a trail building internship in partnership with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. Our interns build, repair, and maintain multi-use trails in New Jersey and New York state forests, reservations, and other public lands. You can read more about our trail building here.

For many parks, we are the only crew that works there all season. We aim to extend our trail season by creating a fall crew consisting of three to five interns and a crew leader. With $7,000, we would hire, train, and compensate this crew.
