  • Plant family: Asteraceae

  • General Info: Prolific, double and semi double blooms easy to use in bouquets due to smaller size at 1.5-2.5 inch blooms. The smaller blooms mean they hold up well to handling compared to larger zinnia blooms that are susceptible to snapping at the stem due to bloom weight. Low susceptibility to powdery mildew. Cut-and-come again flower which yields multiple cuts over the season. 

  • Days to harvest: 70-90 days 

  • Harvesting tips: Harvest before the flower   fully opens. Stem should be straight and firm. 

  • Sun, and spacing: Full Sun, space 9-12” (22-30cm) 

  • Common pests and diseases : Aphids, spider mites, and whiteflies
