  • Plant family: Asteraceae

  • General Info: Highly branching plants. A good choice for packs, pots, and garden planting. Attracts beneficial insects such as hoverflies. Also known as French marigold. Flowers are edible and can be used to dress up salads and desserts or cooked in egg or rice dishes. 

  • Days to harvest: 50

  • Harvesting tips: Harvest when flowers are fully open but still have tight centers

  • Sun, and spacing: Like full sun, space 8-18” 

  • Common pests: Aphids, caterpillars, leafminers, gastropods, thrips, whiteflies

  • Other: The flower base is very bitter so removing the petals is ideal for food purposes. Sold in pack of 4 plants
