WHAT: MEVO’s first-ever Farm-to-Table Donor Drive Dinner party aims to provide a new farm-to-table experience for MEVO’s supporters while helping MEVO cultivate individual donors. Guests will be expected to attend with the intention of learning more about MEVO’s current mission work and goals for 2026, in consideration of becoming a monthly recurring individual donor.
WHEN: Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at 5:00-8:00PM
WHERE: The night will start at MEVO’s Fresh Roots Farm (200 Campgaw Road, Mahwah, NJ, 07430) for cocktail hour and then move to a local host’s home for an intimate dinner party experience. There, guests will enjoy a multi-course farm-to-table dinner prepared by Chef Gaby Aron of Autumn Olive Food Works using local produce and supporting ingredients. We expect to have 5-7 host sites that will seat 5-7 individuals each. There will be a MEVO board or staff member at each dinner party to facilitate a conversation about MEVO’s work. Interested in being a host for the evening? Check out more information here.
WHY: There has been an increased demand for more farm-to-table dinners, in addition to our annual Farm Feast Fundraiser. This model alleviates some of the space prep the Farm Feast demands while allowing for an additional farm-to-table experience in support of MEVO’s mission work. A not-for-profit flourishes on the support of individual donations from its community members. Individual donations provide reliable and continued funding support from people who value their work the most.
HOW: Once we have our host sites confirmed, you will be able to purchase tickets for the event. Sign up to stay informed of when tickets go live here.

ABOUT THE CHEF: Chef Gabby has been our Farm Feast chef since 2024. She began her small food business, Autumn Olive Food Works, in 2016 in an effort to combine her passions for sustainable agriculture with feeding her community and family-style hospitality. Coming from a multicultural food-loving background, the seeds for food and environmental justice, access, and education were planted at a young age. Her fondest memories are painting her aunties basil pots, making homemade tomato sauce, and giant cucuzza squashes hanging in her family's urban backyard. Chef Gabby enjoys preparing Mediterranean, Eastern European, and Middle Eastern menus in exploration of her family's heritage- but equally loves creating all cuisines of the world in efforts to preserve human culture in relation to our environment. She has worked as a culinary and garden educator, a micro farmer, and a CSA coordinator (to name a few), while building her reputation as a farm-to-table chef and educator. Recently, she has joined the staff of the Northeastern Organic Farming Association of New Jersey as their Culinary Education Coordinator.
