Dan Kasauskas
Trail Crew Leader
Dan Kasauskas is the Trail Crew Leader at MEVO, where he's been an active member since the spring of 2024. He began his journey as a Farm Crew Intern and has since contributed to both the Trail and Farm Crews across each season. Dan holds a degree in Environmental Science from Ramapo College and has been passionate about ecology since high school, where he studied at the Morris County Academy for Environmental Science.
From a young age, Dan has been fascinated with the natural world. Through his studies and hands-on work with MEVO, he is dedicated to protecting and caring for New Jersey’s native ecosystems. In his current role, Dan is excited to lead the Trail Crew in partnership with the NY/NJ Trail Conference, maintaining the trails that so many people explore and enjoy.
When not at MEVO, you can find Dan birdwatching, spending time with his many pets, listening to music, or doing even more yard work at home.
