Corporate and Business Groups
Volunteer with us!
For corporations and businesses looking to get their employees out into their neighboring community, we offer corporate volunteer opportunities at our farm. Your employees will receive a detailed tour of one of our farm—including an explanation of our market garden-style fields, greenhouse, composting system, educational programs, and more. Additionally, they will be able to take part in our farm operations through a few hours of guided work on our premises.
A glance at a potential volunteer day schedule:
9:30am: Employees arrive
9:40-10:10am: Farm tour
10:15am-12:30pm: Volunteer work
What work will you be doing?
The volunteer work we offer is dependent on the season and the weather. However, it could include: Composting our raised beds; helping us seed, up-pot, or transplant crops (we cannot guarantee planting activities); mulching long-term crops; weeding; helping us to tarp our fields for winter or un-tarp them for spring; cutting down old crops; and more!
Please note: For the longevity and optimal care of our crops, we typically do not harvest vegetables with volunteer groups.
We run on donations!
The majority of our educational and volunteer programming is free to the community. However, as a not-for-profit, we rely on monetary donations to fuel our work, and ask that businesses donate when coming out for a volunteer event. As we establish the details of the event, we will discuss more about what a donation could look like.
