Ashley Avendano is currently a Harvester and Farm Intern at MEVO. She is pursuing a BA in Anthropology at Southern New Hampshire University online. She is passionate about biology and cultural anthropology, and loves learning about different cultural practices. 

Ashley believes bringing a community together starts at the dinner table! Her fondest memories always involved fresh homemade meals and social gatherings. Ashley’s love for good cuisine and shared stories around the table has inspired her to commit to learning about sustainable regenerative farming practices and help bring a positive impact to the local community. 

When she is not at MEVO, you can find Ashley watching history documentaries, cooking videos, enjoying tea, and spending time with friends and family.
