General info: Perennial grows to 3-5 feet tall and the foliage has an anise or licorice scent. Upper stems terminate in spikes of dense whorls of flowers and eventually replaced by small nutlets. Anise hyssop is a favorite of bees, butterflies, and birds to gardens. Seeds can be used in baked goods. Typical Bloom time: July-late autumn.
