Rebecca was born and raised in Pompton Plains, NJ and attended Ramapo College to study Science and Writing. She worked as a member of MEVO’s 2017 Summer Farm Crew before earning her degree and working as an environmental educator for the Meadowlands Environment Center. In 2019, she began working as a naturalist and educator for the Morris County Park Commission at the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. Once the pandemic hit, she began working remotely as an online tutor and by the end of 2020, moved down to Asheville, North Carolina. Aside from educating, she enjoys bird watching, writing poetry, gardening, cooking, and advocating for environmental sustainability.
