Flower Power: Herbal Craft Intensive

Embrace the power of flowers through a 2.5 hour intensive on 6/15 from 10:30am-1:00pm at the Fresh Roots Farm (200 Campgaw Road, Mahwah NJ) with Executive Director Violet Reed. We will learn about how to use and make the flowers all around us in food, medicine, and simply for enjoyment. We will learn how to make:

• Local flower infused honey

• Smudge stick

• Lavender simple syrup for lavender lemonade

• Healing Salve

All items will be made with MEVO grown or locally grown flowers. We ask this event is kept to individuals 15 years old and older due to the intensive nature of the workshop.

We do offer a sliding scale for this workshop. Please email violet@mevo.org if you’d like to request a different price point.
