As a market garden, the Farm uses as little mechanization as possible. However, we have found a friend in our 1972 Satoh tractor that was discovered in the Cropsey Community Farm field. We use our tractor to turn over new farm plots (like our Lovewell farm plot) and help with heavy lifting of materials like compost, bricks, wood, and more. We also rent out our tractor to the local community for use in different trail and building projects. As with old things, our tractor was in dire need of repair upon purchase and always calls for a seasonal tune-up. We are grateful that the SUEZ Water Company fixes our Satoh free of charge every year!
