○ Not everything of value needs to be new, and at Farm we like to use upcycled material once used in another capacity for building projects around the farm. Due to this, we have a bulk material section on the farm where we collect used stone, wood, and metal for our seasonal needs. Wood from an old house now acts as our seedling tables in the greenhouse, an old motorcycle trailer functions as our produce fridge, and donated stone works as anchors for our wash station. As an organization with a vested interest in the environment, our efforts go beyond farming. Lastly, on occasion we donate these materials out to other not-for-profit organizations with tight budgets and a need for bulk resources. We strive to take expended materials from our community out of the waste stream and into functional use at our farm.
